Well, thats kind of what I'm getting at, I guess. Noboby keeps those records. Animals don't have families that report missing or deceased members. Without proper records of the total numbers of animals living in an area and total numbers killed, then how would anyone be able to know the animals fared any better than the humans?

I tend to think that whether or not an animal survived that horrible event was as much a matter of chance and circumstance as it was of precognition.
