Howdy Folks,

I know birds can sense p waves. We had a cockateel that fell off its perch and was chirpping loudly at least a full minute before I felt the Northridge quake. I could not figure out how that bird knew. It felt something way before I did.
Northridge is about 110 miles northwest. Just thought I would point this out.
