I got that. Fruit cocktail for sure. People still think that eclipses cause earthquakes also. I was trying to raise the possibility of actually monitoring animals in a way that could tell if they do, or do not sense earthquakes before they happen. I think we have the technical means to do that. It is not a high priority in a state where many of the hospitals and schools have not been retrofitted to withstand the eventual major quake. My gut feeling is that we are getting very close timewise to that occurence. I would say the animal studies can wait. Right now our best science must be focused on the human ramifications of the big one.
