Hi Russell,
You remind me of the USGS scientists and conventional doctors. Strong anecdotal evidence doesn't cut it. Also, I've interviewed holistic docs and open-minded scientists who do believe that strange things can happen or work, whether it be sensitive animals and humans or natural rememdies--but hard-hitting studies are not available. That doesn't mean home cures or sixth sense doesn't exist. It's just hard to prove it. Ever see the film "Contact"? Some things, like God and life on other planets, are difficult to prove without having tangible or consistent scientific results. But that doesn't mean they do not exist--does it?
