PREDICTION - Bay Area Earthquake Advisory (6.0+) |
Magnitude: 6.0Ml+ We should start seeing an increase in quake activity starting is Southern California on or about 04/17/2002. This will be with quakes 3.0Ml and larger. There could be a 4.5Ml in there somewhere. This activity will continue moving north towards the Bay Area. Activity should pick up in the Bay Area on or about 04/21/2002 and last until 05/12/2002. The magnitude for the quake will be 6.0Ml+. It could occur almost anywhere in the Bay Area. This is the main problem when you have this much data occurring at the same time. You could have a large quake anywhere within a 65Km radius, or because of the large amount of data in a given area it could cancel itself out. There are two locations and two time periods for this quake to occur. One is at 37.7N/122.5W. This is about 4Km west of Daly City, California. Should occur on 05/07/2002 +/- 2 days. The other location is at 37.8N/122.6W. This is about 8Km south of Bolinas, California. Should occur on 05/09/2002 +/- two days. Here is the listing for the Bay Area. The magnitudes listed for each quake is based on that being the only data in the area at that time. However as you can see this is not the case during this time period. 38.4 -122.4 4 21 2002 2.0-3.1 Yountville/Napa, CA Because of the increase in the instability of this area the window will open on 04/19/2002 and will close on 05/14/2002. The radius for this will be 65Km with the center of the radius at 37.8N/122.6W. Now all there is left to do is see how right I am, or how wrong I am. Take Care…Don in creepy town
