Hi John,

I have in a sense been following the progress of this group for a couple of years and I do believe the outcome will be a positive effort.

However, the best of this new endeavor is that it opens the doors to more like it. There is at last a path to looking at prediction without it seeming like a menacing procedure. While history will show that Geologist Jim Berkland began his private newsletter years ago to subscribers offering his monthly Seismic Windows, this takes this effort to a new modern level.

And like all projects in their infancy in this new form, we need to allow them the time to find out what works best, though it has already had its trials in many places. So, let us be hopeful and look for the positive that may break the cast of the shadow of prediction.
