Well? It's two surfaces sliding across each other isn't it? If we don't know the depth and strike of those two sufaces, it's prety much a joke isn't it? At some point, we need to get to the core of the issue, and that is the depth and strike of the two surfaces. Epicenters are vertically over the focal mechanism.
That tells me nothing other than an ML scale. I want Mw. That's that.
