I'm still new to this and have always passed off the ear tones I get on a regular basis but your post got my attention. I'm assuming you're Pacific time, I'm Central time zone and was walking to the elevator this morning right before lunch when I had a pretty serious tone in my left ear that was almost painful. It was higher-pitched than these tones normally are, I'm not sure what that indicates, I've always ignored them in the past. The tone was definitely longer than normal as well, I think that's why it actually felt rather painful. It's also why I took a moment to wonder if it was indicative of an earthquake. I'll start keeping up with them, the times, the tones and which ear. Thanks for posting, I'm probably not insane after all.
