Is it my imagination or did all that activity on the Nevada map start after the 6.0 earthquake in Wells, NV back in February? I too don't remember seeing so much activity in Nevada like what is going on recently. Since I live in Las Vegas, this is of personal interest to me.

And I have a personal interest in Reno also -- I have family and friends who live up in that area.

When I was working on my MBA, I took a couple of classes at UNR one semester. Sometimes, in between classes, I used to wander over to the seismology lab to look around -- it fascinated me. I'm familiar with the area where the earthquake swarm is occurring -- it's very close to Sun City's new community in Somersett. I'm sure those folks are just a little bit concerned, especially if they don't have any earthquake insurance on those new houses that they just bought in the last year or two.
