John...don't you have to teach general earth science of some sort to non-science majors? Or, are you now a research scientist rather than professor? Isn't climate change and the debate one of the most important things an earth science department should be teaching? I suppose the perspective above Cascadia is a little different than....Florida or New Orleans.
HW is teaching such a course and she had 2 classes on these issues.
