What's needed is a comprehensive list of all your advisories but even then any sort of evaluation would be impossible because you cannot specify a date/time window.

As to Perl, it's probably all you say it is and more. In fact, Skywise is learning it for a project. But it's still the ugliest language I've ever seen.

Languages don't have to be that way. Programming commands can be stated as English sentences just as well.
