So for hell of it I found some page that showed SIGNIFICANT quakes in socal from the mid 1800s on. Interestingly it doesn't take any statistical mind or degree to see that southern california has been rocked for the most part by at least TWO 6+ quakes, like clockwork, every decade (give or take a decade or 2 with only one 6+) since the mid 1800s...

Hmmm, its now 2008 and our last 6+ quake was in 1999 and with a few scarce 5+ even after that. Are we headed to finish the decade that breaks this cycle??
