no evidence I could find

I looked over the reports after the Sumatran earthquake, and found no compelling stories of animals behaving strangely before the earthquake. There were some reports of frantic animals, but they were both sketchy and discussed behavoir prior to the tsunami but after the biggest seismic waves had already gone past. That is, if they could detect the vibrations from a nearby M9+ earthquake, they would have noticed something was up, no special paranormal abilities required.

Can anyone produce a link with solid evidence of odd behavior BEFORE the earthquake?
