To myself and my group small earthquakes are as important as larger ones. Of late I've been able to detect quakes 10 miles or less from where I am with magnitudes as low as 1.3. So I think that is significant, but to someone else, probably not. Insofar as issuing predictions these days, 3.0 quakes are a dime a dozen, so even they aren't very interesting. It's better to save your energy for something more measurable.

But to each their own, it depends on what you are trying to achieve. This group achieves 3.0's like they were rice crispies; but to the person who has a different agenda, well, it's different.
