This is off topic but leads into my next post...which is a little closer the science. I want to say goodbye to 2 of my favorite people....Peter Jennings and Tom Dibblee...who died in the last year. A documentary by Peter Jennings on health care is being aired tonight...at 10 eastern...so probably 10 Pacific..on ABC. This year, my family...one wife, one daughter, is spending $15,000 on health insurance. I make about $30,000 on salary these days, before deductions, taxes, geology-related expenses. It is really crazy that we don't have universal, federal health insurance. Most of the people who oppose this are sheep...they just listen to their favorite political leader...or maybe their favorite health industry lobbyist...
