Cathryn - You're On

Ok, Great Lady, here we go.

I thought I'd start this thread which will cover precognititive disaster warnings. Of course this includes earthquake dreams/visions/ESP.

Before major disasters there is a certain segment of our society who seems have precognitive experiences which point to the occurrence of a disaster looming. Some of the historical events which have been widely known about are the JFK assination of which no less than 100 people knew it was going to happen and sent warnings to the White House. The sinking of the Titanic was yet another. In some cases people who had voyage tickets did not go, yet some did, including a woman who sat up every night of the cruise waiting. Her waiting paid off in that she was among the first few who knew what happened and made early preparations to leave the ship. President Lincoln had a dream the night before he was assainated in which he heard the sounds of mourning the White House and asked who died? He saw himself in the mirror and knew it he who was going to die. Airplane disasters over the years have proven to be a good resource in confirming precognitive experiences. Many phone calls have gone to airlines, airports and police departments all across America providing any information these people had to avert the disaster. Although I am not aware of any precognitive information which has been sufficient to prevent the disaster.

Precognitive dreams also arrive before earthquakes and other natural disasters. I have had three dreams which each occurred 3 days in advance of earthquakes. Though I find its interesting that it does not occur more often.

I remain curious as to those who were affected by the 911 disaster if some received any form of precognitive warnings and if so, did they act on them. In the years ahead I am quite positive many stories will surface and they will be quite interesting.

I will always wonder why some people receive these early warnings and others never do. At one point in time I thought there was a link between the disaster and the receiver of the information, but later came to the conclusion, though its highly likely, it is not a hard and fast rule. Precognition of a disaster in most cases is about an event that is certain and cannot be altered. This presents more questions as to why people would know in advance if nothing could be done to prevent the disaster.

Looking at disasters which visit upon an individual such as JFK, the question will always arise that if so many advised him that something dreadful was going to happen to him in Dallas, why didn't he decide not to go? He was offered the opportunity to place a bubble over the top of the convertible, but he thought that could distance him from the public, so option #2 was dismissed. Thus one could conclude that this was his destiny and nothing anyone could have said would have altered it.

Precognition fortunately is one of the few aspects of extra sensory perception which is accepted and carries no connotations of a person being in some state of mental degeneration.
