Hi EQF. I fail to see the point your trying to make. There were two large quakes in 1989, however there were 100s of solar flares. Which one of them would trigger a quake and if so where? Studies are being made all the time to see what works and what doesn’t. It is true that I found only 2 large quakes for 1989, but there could have other years where there were more. I would really be hard pushed to say that there is a direct connection between solar flares and large earthquakes.
