However I can say that on a number of occasions when my own data indicated to me that an earthquake might be about to occur in that part of the world, he had a warning posted for one at the same time and almost exactly the same location. Several did occur when and where they were expected. And quite a few lives were lost.

An important point is, people living in vast areas of the world have no way at present of receiving any type of warning at all before a destructive earthquake occurs near them. So considering how little it would cost to check to see if his procedure works, if it did then many lives might be saved. If it did not then relatively little would be lost.
