Neither do I, but at some point, something needs to be said. I am glad the owner of this list concurred with the gist of my long post.

The politics here are minimal, and I truly believe most people want it that way. Some people like to form cliques; others prefer to remain at a distance from anything even slightly controversial. Some, with atypical methods of predicting are often shot down by the hard core scientists. And some provoke, when they think they can get away from it.

Lowell Whiteside was, in my mind, the perfect poster. He was always a consummate gentleman, even in response to someone's accusation or mild insult. Dang it. I miss him.
