Pardon my nickname. I missed my UC Berkeley graduation because of a stalker. (And yes, he did show up looking for me.)
Also, it's one thing to be John from Los Angeles, quite another to be Genevieve from Pt. Microscopic.
There are plenty of people on this board who know my real name, but I am more likely to write freely about observations in my actual location if I am protected by a nickname. I hope you understand - it's not meant as any lack of respect.
