I know, but the thread concerns the possibility of negative things happening and mitigating that by using a nickname. Those negative things can happen even with a nickname, but I do agree with you and Chris and the others that using a full name may not be a good idea for chat and discussion.

Also I do not think it is negative to point out how careless we can be about the Golden Rule. And I tried to emphasize I am not upset in the slightest. So by posting that, it is my way of "moving on," which is hard for me to do if I leave something unclarified about my feelings.
