Wow, very interesting, thanks for sharing. 13 floors up huh? Wow that will shake you even in a magnitude 3 let alone 6.6. I've read many accounts of this quake. It was an interesting quake because LA I feel was mostly in denial up to that point. ALL the felt events previous were in the desert and far away. I feel that if a quake of this magnitude occured again, people would remember NOrthridge, the desert quakes of the 90s and immediately take action. Now let me ask you this, did you feel a lot of the aftershocks? Did you leave the dorm after quake and spend the following nights elsewhere? What about these feelings, did people think you were a freak? WEre they freaking out AFTER the quake that you had told them? Very interesting stuff...any more info you wish to share about this would be fascinating. Thanks!
