Todd...it will not be hundreds of years before there is another thrust event...but more likely than not it will be on one of the faults flanking Ventura basin...which is not, I guess, the "valley", but would cause damage there...Do they really know that much about what kinds of quakes in the 1880s? Or, just that there were no large quakes there period? Chris
