While it may be true that much of this would not have happened without your efforts that does not prove that there is politics involved which is slowing down research.

As I've explained before, scientists have limited time and money. They must produce to survive and cannot afford to chase wild geese.

I, on the other hand, being retired, CAN.

I have no reason to believe that Shan's method has any merit. The earth does not bob around like an apple in water and if it did, the motion would be detected by much better instruments than a shadow on the wall.

But the effort was not wasted. I learned more about Excel and developed some useful (perhaps) programs which I might not have otherwise.
