Hi All,

I'm making another trip to Parkfield next month around the 24th and I wanted to know if any of you would be interested in meeting me there and perhaps having another seismic tour by the singular school teacher, Duane Hamann. Last year 13 friends came along and we had a wonderful time and had lunch on the deck of the Parkfield Cafe and truly enjoyed each others company. This year is perhaps Hamann's last year in Parkfield and I wanted to have the opportunity to see him one more time. He's a wonderful educator, and gives a tour that everyone enjoyed very much.

It might be nice if enough friends can be gathered to give him a little send off party and let him know how much his work with our scientists over the years has been appreciated. He was there at the beginning of the project and helped them at first with constructing some small buildings and then later became the geodimeter operator and spent quite a number of nights taking readings for the Parkfield group.

So if you're in the mood to hang out with someone who really loves Parkfield, a little party and some good conversation, say yes, show up and let's get it together!
