Just so it doesn't get lost in the Coso swarm and subsequent activity, it is interesting
to note that an earthquake of Ml 2.6 occurred in Northern California near Dunnsmuir
a few minutes before the Coso swarm began. Don has the following prediction on record:

In the event there is an X flare one or two days before the Dunsmuir/McCloud/Shasta quake one whole magnitude can be tacked onto the one stated below provided the storm impacts this part of the globe. Take Care…Don in creepy town.

ML= 2.6 2001/07/14 10:22:32 41.1N 122.4W 12.2 12 km ( 7 mi) SW of Dunsmuir, CA

Don's predicted parameters were:

ML2.5-3.5 716 to 7-20 40.9N 122.4W 7 18 2001 2.5-3.5 Dunsmuir/McCloud/Shasta, CA

Today's event is about 22 km from the predicted epicenter, well within the 40 km
expected distance, is within the predicted magnitude range, but occurs 1.5 days
earlier than the time window given.
