Almost any scientific effort can have outside interference. One of the reasons that many scientists are unwilling to post public notes on the Internet is because of that interference. And a good way to deal with the problem is to place restrictions on who can post notes on a bulletin board for example. That is the way the EarthWaves board and monitored Newsgroups work. But the EarthWaves board and the monitored Newsgoups do not have the formal, complex structure that would be needed for this particular type of effort. The bulletin board I am trying to get developed should be better suited for that.
