Here is an easy way to check on whether or not my forecast program is working:

The Year Charts year 2009 picture file was just updated. You can print out a copy and tape the separate pages together. Then get a list of 6 and higher magnitude earthquakes for late 2008 to May 1, 2010.

Then use a marking pen to place a dot on the chart at the longitude of each earthquake at the time that it occurred. You could also place a different color dot at longitudes 90 and 180 degrees to the east and west of the original one.

Then look at the chart and see if a good percentage of the dots match with line peaks at those longitudes. Some will and some won’t. I have not done this yet myself because of the amount of time required. I have been busy developing computer program code etc.

One of the reasons there won’t be line peaks pointing to all of the earthquake dots could be because the EM Signals associated with the earthquakes don’t travel in an evenly distributed manner. They probably concentrate at different locations at different times of the day. Another reason could be that all fault zones do not cause signals to be generated in the same manner. The type of rock layer etc. probably makes a difference. And my computer programs are not yet sophisticated enough to determine which factors could be important or take them into account.
