We did order the new machine yesterday. It is XP, Intel core 2, 3Ghz, 4Mb L2, and 1066FSB. I think this is more than enough for my needs. If not, I can always add juice to it. I also bought a 4 year service contract for $299... If a problem cannot be fixed over the phone with tech support, they will send somebody to the house the next business day. For me, that protection is well worth it. I'm not compu savvy enough to deal with problems.

Also I do like Rogers idea about keeping the printer and fax seperate. Makes sense, but the "all in ones" are real hot items in the stores. Best to "learn and live" instead of "live and learn". I'll keep those separate.
