Just wondering, but the magnetic reading indicates (hypothetically) a change in the Benioff zone that is associated with Shumagin Gap? My research shows a double dip in the subduction zone, the first bend about 30 km deep. I guess my question is at what depth is the change in magnetics taking place, or is that even known?
