clarify wording

Steve, what you say (copied below) is not wrong because your wordingw as vague enough, but, see comments at the "**"s.

"The crust and mantle is theorized to consist of Iron ( a magnetic conductor) and Silicon (an electrical semiconductor) (as well as other elements)."
**OK, there is some iron in the crust and mantle, but the high percentage iron is in the core. Lots of silica in the continental crust, less in the ocean crust, less still in the mantle.**

"Motion of the fluid below the crust,"
**The liquid area is the outer core...let's see, can I do this from memory...is it 2900 km down?**
"as well as motion of the semisolid crustal area at depth could theoretically create a minor change in the regional or localized flow of magnetism (due to electrical and magnetic flows being altered by the fluid changes) which could be picked up with a geomagnetic instrument."
**Not clear what semi-solid crustal area means. You may mean the asthenosphere, which is part of the mantle. The lower part of continental crust can flow slowly at geologic time scales but is otherwise a solid. Same for asthenospere**

Sorry to be nit-picky, but if you get this right you sound a little more serious.
Chris
