Barbara...don't know about Keilis-Borok. The USGS has issued advisories for Parkfield after M4 or 5 quakes ...in the years before the M6. I think they failed. I don't work for USGS, and don't know what there policies are, but I'd take a wild guess that if there was a M6 left-lateral earthquake on the NE-SW "Extra fault" crossing Salton Sea and abutting the San Andreas fault, they would issue some sort of advisory. Or, maybe not. (there would be some other scenarios that might raise the risk of an immininent San Andreas quake.
I do know about Ojai. Not a place to move to avoid earthquakes: probably the most active thrust fault in California surface trace ends there but probably continues west as a blind fault. So, probably lies under Ojai. There are others around also. I hope you don't gamble away all your life saving because you may need $1 million for a shack in Ojai (I don't know the costs there, I'm guessing it is almost as bad as Santa Barbara). Buy yourself a Dibblee map of Ojai quad and the others around and look at the cross sections: Google Dibblee Foundation. Or, ask more questions here...I need to do some other stuff now but might answer later. I have the maps but they are all rolled up at the University so hard to find.
