Thanks, Chris, for turning me onto the Dibblee Foundation maps. I want to order the map of Ojai -- will be worth the $20. Also, I read Dibblee's bio -- sounds like he was an incredibly dedicated man to his work.

And, yes, Ojai is high-priced and I think it will always remain that way to some extent. There are barriers to entry in Ojai (as in Santa Barbara) -- local ordinances that restrict further growth and development. It's a double-edged sword. Also, without improved access to Ojai Valley, they shouldn't do further development. As 2-lane roads, Hwy. 33 (and Hwy 150) cannot handle anymore traffic -- and the residents like that just fine and want to keep it that way.
