Canie, from your numbers, if there is a M2.8 nor 3.2 every 70 days or so, and there was a 6 day window, then there is a 1 in 10 or 1 in 12 chance that this is by chance. I'd say "spectacular" is a large overestatement. Shan's prediction of the 8.7 in Sumatra was a much longer shot....although he has had 3 or 4 misses in a row on great quakes since then....

Roger is the only one on this page set up to evaluate predictions...I can't make sense of predictions for M3s....and can't make sense of Shan's predictions for global M5s....
