The most expensive natural disaster in US history?

Well, off topic but some of you are interested in preparedness and disaster recovery...Hurricane Frances will probably be the most expensive Natural disaster in US history if it maintains or increases it strength (as forecast) and there is heavily populated areas within 40 miles from where the eye comes ashore on north. I think if it turns and hits Georgia it may not be so bad because there are large, lightly populated islands there....or, they used to be lightly populated....
