Hurricanes & Earthquake Triggering

Hi Jim and All,

First, the possible landslide on LaPalma as some scientists would believe may cause a Mega Tsunami which would reach all the way to New York city, however, generally, it seems from what I read since viewing the PBS special on this do not agree with that opinion. (see link below)

I think on the subject of hurricanes possibly triggering earthquakes, the matter of Hurricane Frances may prove very interesting in making observations. It is now a Category 4. At the same time we have the other hurricane off of Mexico, Howard? so that could add some real interest to this watch of sorts. I really don't know how long one should afford for a triggered event from a hurricane, but I'm thinking 5 to 7 days.

Anyone else...?
