Hi All Have been following all the comments on Southern Cal. and the awaited earthquake. On weather being a trigger, I have read a number of articles mentioning a connection between barometric pressure and earthquares. A number of Southern Cal. quakes happen between Sept. and Feb. during Indian Summer like weather or just a sudden warm or hot spell. This weather being caused by a change in the barometric pressure. This has led to some calling it "Earthquake weather." I also have read that some toronadoes in the midwest have left a siesmic record. Do hurricanes produce any records on seismographs in the area? Just a thought. Bob in Woodland Hills
