B-value is the slope of the frequency versus magnitude relation of earthquakes, indicating either "seismic quiescence" or "seismic activation" of the specific region under investigation. My colleagues Prof. Max Wyss and Stefan Weimer of the Geophysical Institute, Fairbanks, Alaske have ample bibliography on the topic at Uof A's Web site and some related bibliography may be found on my Publications site (http://usres.otenet.gr/~gchoul)
