Felt Report

Interesting thing, earthquakes! Here we are on the second floor of a twelve story building, located in the City of Orange, 265 miles from Cambria and yet everyone was very aware that we were experiencing an earthquake. This building creaked and groaned and the vertical blinds swayed gently. Looking through the windows, the trees were moving but there was no wind. The quake lasted for what seemed to be an eternity!
My brother, in the mid-Wilshire district of LA, had quite a ride. He swears the building swayed for over three minutes.

Stay safe,
Joan
