Re: Do You Know What A Tilt Meter Is? |
Hi EQF, Shans sunlight method is very close to what tilt meters produce, and their greatest use is in volcanic area's. If you'll look at the monitoring of Mammoth Lakes you'll see they have a couple of them in use there. Despite anything I, or anyone else might tell you, you are h..l bent on thinking that politics is holding back earthquake prediction. It isn't but I cannot convince you otherwise. So just keep on that dead end train track and in time you will either figure it out for yourself, or believe it until the day you die. It doesn't really matter, because in my opinion you can't predict earthquakes to any degree that would be important to anyone. In in my failures, I'm still better than your "so called" successes. If I said there was going to be a 5.0 quake in Northern, CA do you think anyone would pay attention? No, they wouldn't and I would not expect them to either. Its fairly close to your Japan prediction and you considered it a hit. That puzzles me greatly, but you have always been an enigma anyway, so its a given. So get out your dart board, have another throw, call it a prediction by your computer programs and life will go on. You will never predict an earthquake in advance on this forum because you either can't, won't, are afraid to be wrong, or fearful of success. And so it goes, the more things change, the more they stay the same.....Petra Follow Ups: ● quite so - John Vidale 06:40:47 - 6/16/2003 (18928) (1) ● not like that - R.Shanmugasundaram 16:18:18 - 6/16/2003 (18932) (1) ● ?? - John Vidale 18:21:55 - 6/16/2003 (18933) (2) ● ! ! - R.Shanmugasundaram 10:19:11 - 6/17/2003 (18941) (1) ● ???? - John Vidale 11:43:37 - 6/17/2003 (18942) (2) ● * * * - R.Shanmugasundaram 07:25:37 - 6/18/2003 (18946) (0) ● Re: ???? - EQF 17:12:46 - 6/17/2003 (18944) (0) ● Re: ?? - EQF 20:05:56 - 6/16/2003 (18936) (1) ● Re: ?? - Petra Challus 21:01:14 - 6/16/2003 (18939) (0) |
