There is no difference in building damage or economic loss regardless of whether an earthquake is expected or not. Even if everyone evacuated, the buildings will still come down, it will place a halt on production and cause economic distress. Earthquake prediction cannot change this.

However, if you work on retrofitting, reconstruction and education, more people will survive. And here's one economic fact that though unpleasant is true. It costs everyone less money if someone dies than if they live. It doesn't matter if they perish in an earthquake or a car accident. However, to be disabled for a lifetime has the opposite results and costs a fortune.

And of course we are all waiting to hear if you sent a warning message to Russia. If so, can you verify that you did, and your exact prediction so we can see how close you came to the epicenter?
