I can't tell by th image you posted - was this a C class flare? I think I can almost make out C in the upper right corner as well as the image color. I can't imagine a c-class has much affect on anything - as well as they are occurring just about daily (if not daily).

There is an M class hitting Bangladesh about now - I think you really want those X-class flares for any real excitement.
