Morongo Valley Earthquake (Ml 3.3)

I believe the Morongo Valley earthquake east
of Los Angeles today was the largest in the
region bounded by 33-35N 115-125 W in nearly
3 months since April 4, 2002 when a Ml 4.4 occurred near this same location.

The FFA report issued after the NE China earthquake had noted that this area as a likely location for such an event at this time:

"Possible Events (Ml>=3) in the U.S. and Canada include:

Southern California east of Los Angeles "
