How not to predict a quake

Someone got my email address along with many people where I work, along with Governor Davis, George Bush, etc, and made a warning for a devastating earthquake for a particular place for a particular date (I will not give the place and date because as far as I can see there is no basis for this). He does give a name, address, and phone number.
But, he starts the message with:
"In the name of God, most gracious, most merciful".
He provides zero reason/basis for the warning.
Somke of us professional scientists are religious, (not me, but I doubt any of us would preface a warning that way. So, to be taken seriously, you need a basis/reason+credibility. This guy is doing nothing useful-even if he was correct. Chris
