I think if the quake happens then he may be doing something useful...and would merit being contacted again.

Also, you could always ask him what his method is if he provided contact info. Also, asking about a track record might help weigh the info. too.

Other than that, I think he's better off being one who believes in God than one who doesn't...whether the quake happens or not.
