Don has been pointing us in the direction of the southern coastline of California for several weeks now. His first forecast for this area was for Los Osos, CA (see link below and copied below this).Then there was Kernville, lately his forecasts seem to be moving northward of these locations.A highly unusual earthquake (ML 4.6) occurred today off the coast of Southern California with the following preliminary parameters:

ML 4.6 2002/03/16 13:33:22 33.7N 119.4W NW of Santa Barbara Is. , CA

This is the largest earthquake ever recorded within 25 km of this epicenter, and the largest within 50 Km in the 21 years since a Ml 4.6, 4.7 and 5.9 in September and October 1981.

While Don's coordinates were off by 80 km to the west and 150 to the north, this event seems
To confirm his data that something was about to happen in this general area. Sometimes, especially with the large events, that is as good as can be hoped for. He had expected
a moderate event in the general region and it happened within the window he had
projected. Not perfect, but to call a moderate to large event within 5 days in the general
vicinity is not bad either.

Looking for a 2.5 to 3.7 quake at 35.3N/120.8. This is about 3Km SE of Los Osos, California.

Should occur on 03/15/2002. The window will open on 03/13/2002 and will close on 03/17/2002. The radius for this is 35Km. Take Care…Don in creepy town
