Hi Lowell,

Well Don may not have hit every high note, but I'd like to see someone do better than that. He's a winner in my book!

But not meaning to toot my own horn, I too had some success with mapping this quake and it occurred via an ear tone I had while in Parkfield.

This occurred on 3/2/02 7:25PM PST while in the town of Parkfield. It was two seconds and of medium volume, as per my written notes. That leaves one outstanding quake from our trip not matched to date.

Oh, by the way, I got mail today and was so impressed when I looked at the sender and it was from the U.S. Department of State. Actually its contents are the portal to my freedom outside of the U.S. Yeah, I've got my passport and now I can hop over to other countries and talk to them about earthquake prediction mono e mono. I have really good people skills and an up close and personal visit with perhaps some scientists outside of the US would really be a treat.

Of course it would be even better if I could connect with some others who hear ear tones in those countries, we could learn a lot about what we have in common. I haven't mastered my Italian yet, so I'll have to limit myself to English speaking contacts or see if I can get an interpreter. Somehow hand jestures just don't work. There's to much room for misinterpretation and gosh that could be a real problem. I think I need to get a book on what to do and not to do so I don't insult anyone.

Now I can countdown the days to when Petra goes to Petra, Jordan. I don't know how long it will be, but I think I'll put it my diary and see how long it takes to realize this dream.

Petra
