New LA Swarm-Another question |
Hi Everyone, Just as I had thought the swarm for LA was over and may have just been a normal/coincidental event, a new one just kicked off within the hour. It started with a 2.9 in Beverly Hills and multiple 1+ micros from W. Hollywood, to Studio City to Newhall have followed, all within an hour. So my question is this. I've noticed that when there is a micro quake in the bay area, there usually aren't mulitple micro quakes within a 30 mile radius that follow, especially within an hour. Is this normal for LA to have mulitple micro quakes sprout up at once all over? I.E. I've heard some geologist say that the fault system is extremely complex here-could this swarm go along with that? Or, does this seem as interesting to all of you as it does me? BTW, lets hope after tonight this is it for the micro quakes in LA!!!
