Canie, is it correct that times of post are now Pacific standard time?

On the first EQF post on this thread thread, there was a mention of an effort to predict or forecast aftershocks on the east Turkey quake. But, there was no actual forecast or prediction. No date range, no magnitude, and not position (including longitude). I don't know whether the chart posted at that time had a peak at that longitude or not.

So, yes, you did mention Turkish aftershocks and there was large one. But that aftershock was at 19:23:33 UTC. I just checked and UTC is 6 hours later than Central time, so 8 hours later than Pacific time. I think, but could be wrong, that the time on Earthwaves posts is Pacific time. If Pacific standard time, then your post was made at 11:33:48, or 19:33:48 UTC.

So, if I am correct, and Canie confirms time, your post was completed 10 minutes after the quake. It seems reasonable that you had already written most of the post before the quake, and were unware of the quake at the time. But, many people (not me) get email alerts about quakes as they occur.

But, it does not matter because you had no forecast/prediction in your post.
