Hi All. Petra and I have been kicking this one around and I think I have gotten her convinced that she has to give the window sometime to develop.

For the most part she can get the area and the magnitude, but just can't seem to get the window.

I feel that when she starts getting the area down she will learn over a period of time about how long she has to wait for a quake. For Markleevill area it appears to be around 11 to 16 days.

Here is the forecast she made on 05/11/01.

Since I can't get the latitude & longitude of Lee Vining, this is a triagulated area as follows:

From Markleville,CA South to Lee Vining,CA, East from Lee Vining to Hawthorne, NV, from Hawthorne NW to Markleville.

Based on right ear tone that lasted 19 seconds and was very loud, earlier this evening."

Todays quake 05/26/01 is about 5 miles south of her parameters. We know there are at least two tones from that area that are almost alike. One is for Markleeville and the other is for the Mammoth Lakes area. It appears that with todays quake near Lee Vining there is a third tone that sounds very much like the other two. I can tell you right now I glad I don't hear what she hears.

For Lowell. If she had gotten the window correct what are the chances for a 3.9 quake in todays location? Take Care...Don in creepy town.
